News items added to a project now result in an email notification to all project members (unless they have disabled notifications in their settings). This provides an easy way to notify team members about new releases and other project-related news.

A new project named IRIS Supported Software has been added to SeisCode. It contains short summaries of the products that are hosted by IRIS in http://www.iris.edu/software along with links to where more information can be found. . This should make these packages discoverable alongside all the other submitted software and continues the push to have one unified place where such software can be found.
